Project Background
The existing kitchen was small, with a kitchen table blocking the sliding back door and no room for coats or shoes. Multiple entryways into the kitchen limited flow and storage, and the family rarely used the formal dining room.
The Result
Combining the dining room and kitchen created space for a mudroom, large island, pantry closet, and an extendable dining table for large family gatherings.
