Project Background
Our empty-nester client wanted to adapt their newly purchased home for entertaining and hosting family gatherings. Their wish list included opening the kitchen, improving storage, exposing a window hidden behind drywall, and creating built-in seating for two. They also wanted new ways to display their collections of books, art, and mementos, and to rethink a hallway bathroom. Their final objective was to transform the long, dark hallway at the center of their home.
The Result
During the planning phase, over conversations and onsite visits with our clients, Nate discussed modern improvements he could incorporate into the design while preserving the home’s 1920s-era charm. The result was a multi-room remodel that improved the flow throughout, brightened the previously narrow and dark interior, and created the perfect setting for creating new family memories.
