The first official step in our process is the Design Proposal. Nate creates design options and works with you to refine the final layout and design. This back-and-forth between you and Nate gives you time to bounce ideas and possibilities. When you’ve decided on your design, Nate walks through the space with our trade partners, prices your materials, and meticulously details all work to be completed. This collaborative step gives us the information we need to calculate a fixed price for your new kitchen.
The Project Summary
Rosalie Remodeling prepares a comprehensive document covering your project scope and material selection, along with the fixed price cost for your project. We’ll review the proposed plan with you in detail to ensure we include every element. We use the finalized Project Summary to create the Construction Agreement.
Before We Get Started
Nate handles permitting, schedules our trade partners, sets the project start date and milestones, and orders materials before we begin so they’re on site and ready when needed. You’ll receive a project calendar and a clear payment schedule, so you know exactly what to expect.
What to Expect During Construction
On the first day of the renovation, before demolition, we install floor protection, dust barriers, and air filtration systems to contain debris and disruption. Clients consistently appreciate the care our demolition team takes to protect the home, remove materials safely, and keep dust and debris contained throughout the process.
Throughout, Nate will keep you informed, explaining progress, addressing any unforeseen conditions, and reviewing available solutions with you. No additional work moves forward without your approval. You’ll also receive regular schedule updates, so you can plan around the work taking place in your home. Whether you work remotely, have children with nap schedules, or pets sensitive to noise and activity, we take your household’s routine into account to make the remodeling experience as smooth and low-stress as possible.
Project Completion
On the final day of the project, Nate does a final walkthrough with you, and we clean the space and make it move-in ready. After the project is completed, Rosalie Remodeling schedules a professional photoshoot of the completed space.
