Project Background
Our clients wanted to enlarge their second-story layout by building over the previous single-story addition on the back of their house. During the design phase of the new primary bathroom, we realized there was enough space to add a walk-in closet and laundry.
Unexpected Benefit
Part of this project involved removing damaged wood in the roof and walls of the existing first-floor addition. The upside of removing the old flat roof allowed us to incorporate a higher ceiling in the family room below.
