In-Law Suite · Primary Bath & Mudroom Remodel
Project Background
The homeowners asked us to transform their first-floor office and powder room into a welcoming mother-in-law suite, while also refreshing the nearby mudroom to improve both storage and the transition from the garage to the main living spaces.
The Outcome
Our new ensuite design offers a private retreat — essential for a busy household with two young children — and features thoughtful touches inspired by the family’s Indian heritage. A newly added doorway in the dining room wall makes it easier to move between the garage and the rest of the home via the upgraded mudroom. Upstairs, we redesigned the primary bathroom and created a more convenient laundry area by converting a former hallway storage closet.
