When you hire Rosalie Remodeling, you’ve hired a builder who sees the creative possibilities in every room redesign. Here are three examples from a recent condominium remodel.
Who says you have to drag your laundry to another part of the house to get the job done?
Before remodeling this condo, the laundry machines were in the utility room with the furnace and water heater in a room adjacent to the primary bathroom. We created a light-filled nook by moving walls to bring the laundry and the window into the primary bathroom.
Next, we built the machines into a wall storage unit, complete with a pull-out shelf for folding items straight from the dryer, and tucked everything around the corner from the shower, hidden from view.
Looking for more storage space?
We excel at creating creative ways to carve out storage space in a home remodel. For example, when we reconfigured the entryway of this condominium, we built a new coat closet with bonus storage above. In addition, incorporating a garage door keeps the look minimal with easy access.
This Evanston three flat includes a centrally-located window bench surrounded by built-in storage just off the kitchen. An electrical outlet hidden in the back of a tall cabinet turns a roll-out drawer into the perfect out-of-the-way charging station for electronic devices.
So whether the cabinets store craft supplies, pantry goods, or daily go-to items, this “Drop Zone” is a safe (and consistent) place to stow laptops, tablets, and phones charged and ready to go.
