Your dream bathroom remodeling project is at an end, and now you have the soaking tub you’ve always wanted. Whether sleek in style or charmingly retro, a freestanding tub will throw a few extra challenges into your cleaning routine. How best to clean that hard-to-reach floor space behind and underneath the tub?
An extendable dusting tool quickly removes debris on the bathroom floor and works well in narrow spaces. Those made of microfiber will trap dust on and around the bathtub’s legs and feet. Then, when it comes time for a deeper cleaning, reach for a mop to keep the floor around the tub looking great. A long-handled scrubber (like the OXO extendable tub and tile scrubber) is just the tool for hard-to-reach cleaning behind and inside a deep tub. Be sure to clean the outside of the tub as well (per the manufacturer’s suggestion, of course), but a quick wipe-down with a damp microfiber cloth works when you need a quick spruce up.
