Tiffany Blue Kitchen

Design · Remodel · Colorful Kitchen Upgrade

Project Background

The homeowner came to us with the dream of a Tiffany Blue kitchen.

Nate’s design filled the kitchen with light and incorporated her signature color. The counters and floor-to-ceiling cabinetry in a contrasting crisp white set off the vibrant blue. The new space includes a cozy eat-in breakfast area with a Tiffany Blue bench that adds extra seating while concealing the radiator.

Better in Blue

Before the remodel, the only original feature left in this 1920s kitchen was a built-in cabinet with glass doors, an open shelf, and a tall pantry cupboard. It was full of character, but the storage was inefficient. Nate designed and made the built-in to give a nod to the original craftsmanship and period elements of the vintage kitchen.

Removing an awkwardly placed peninsula cabinet that split the kitchen in two opened up the layout, creating extra space for the cafe-style breakfast nook and improving flow.
